Mr M R Balakrishna, a renowed Advocate, is an exclusive practitioner of criminal law before the trial courts and High Court Of Karnataka at Bangalore. However he also practices matrimonial cases. He obtained his law degree from KVG law college, Sullia, D K district, which is affiliated to Mangalore University in the year 1996. He immediately enrolled as an advocate before the Karnataka State Bar council. Thereafter, he joined the office of an eminent senior advocate Shri H S Chandramouli, former state public prosecutor, High court of Karnataka, Bangalore.
His independent practice began in the year 1999. He has been appointed as a special public prosecutor by the Government of Karnataka in number of criminal matters; and conducted the same successfully on behalf of the State. He has also been appointed as the Central Government Standing Counsel by the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India. He handled several criminal matters on behalf of the Narcotics Control Beauro, Bangalore Zonal Unit, Railway Protection Force and Department of Posts, Bangalore before the Hon’ble High court of Karnataka at Bangalore.
He has offered internships to students from various law colleges viz, NLSIU, Bangalore, Karnataka Law University Hubli, Christ Law University, Bangalore, Jindal Law School, Sonipet, Haryana, Presidency Law College, Bangalore and Sheshadripuram Law college, Bangalore.
